On August 23, 2026, we founded Kagura AI, Inc. The company develops and provides Kagura AI, the shared memory platform for people and AI agents.
Why we started
More and more people use several AI services side by side — not only at work, but in their personal lives too. Yet the memory of what they do — the history, the decisions behind it, the day-to-day conversations — tends to stay locked inside each AI service. Switch AIs and you explain the background again; hand work over and the history breaks.
We believe that memory should not be left with any single service, and that people and multiple AI agents should be able to share the same memory. That is why we have been building Kagura AI.
Our mission
We provide a trusted memory platform that lets enterprises and individuals reuse their decisions, experience, and context under their own control.
What comes next
- Cloud: an invite-only free trial is available now.
- Self-host: the open-source edition is free on GitHub. For companies, our Enterprise plan covers setup through maintenance (quote on request).
